Team Birkie

Luci grew up in Golden Valley, MN. After having spent many years as a cross-country skier, skiing in highschool then competing collegiately at the University of New Hampshire, Luci took a shot at biathlon last year and has grown in the sport since. She is a member of U.S. Biathlon's Project X program and qualified to train at the final on-snow pre-season camp in Vuokatti, Finland. She will toe the line in her first international biathlon race in Idre Fjall, Sweden as a member of the IBU Cup team!

Outside of biathlon, Luci enjoys hanging out with her friends and family! She also enjoy to knit during the season; she finds it very meditative and helps her to turn her brain off and relax.
