National Guard Biathlon

Travis started competitively skiing in the seventh grade for his local middle school. He then skied 4 years varsity at Kenai Central High School along with three trips to the Junior National Cross Country Ski Championships representing Team Alaska. His biathlon career started when he joined the National Guard his senior year of high school. He has been training and racing on their team since October of 2015, making two junior world teams. He accredits the National Guard for his success in the last few years and continues to give them praise for the amount of support and commitment they have shown to him as an athlete.
Outside of biathlon, Travis enjoys singing in the car, long walks on the beach, intense in-tents camping and campfires.
