Try Biathlon
U.S. Biathlon, and its member clubs, are very proud and motivated to share the sport of Biathlon all over the snow belt states with our Biathlon Try-It campaign. These Try-It events may include an introduction to the sport with Biathlon laser rifles which can occur at venues with and without shooting ranges. They may also include traditional Biathlon .22 caliber rifle Try-It opportunities when a Biathlon range exists and we have trained coaches and Range Safety officers to support the event. Find a club near you and try biathlon!
To take our Basic Rifle Safety Course, visit the Center. This course is free and will get you knowledgable and ready for a great biathlon experience!
U.S. Biathlon is regularly looking for opportunities to schedule Try-It events at Youth Ski Festivals, cross country ski races, and other Club building events in association with member Clubs. If you would like to know when the next Biathlon Try-It event is scheduled, or have an idea for a great location/event, please reach out to your local club or to info@usbiathlon.org.
Biathlon is an amazing sport, and most fall in love when they “try it”, but not every skier grows up with a Biathlon Club associated with their local Ski Club, so it is our hope to introduce more skiers to Biathlon in the coming years and this is one effort we are excited to make!
