Daughter of PJ and Melissa Madigan, Lexie has one sister, Riley. After watch biathlon on TV during the Olympics, she got the chance to try it at a local clinic hosted by Auburn Ski Club. She then started competitive cross-country skiing and biathlon in 7th grade at age 13 and qualified for Junior Nationals in 8th grade as a second-year U14. One year later, Lexie qualified for Youth/Junior World Championships but didn't meet minimum age requirement to attend. She was selected as flag bearer for U.S. Team at 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her favorite athlete is Swedish biathlete Stina Nilsson and her favorite venue to compete at is Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, UT. Lexie currently living in Lillehammer Norway and training with Team 1,5. They have been super welcoming and supportive with training and living abroad in general :)
Outside of biathlon Lexie enjoys studying psychology, reading and knitting!
