About #
Mirra’s parents introduced her to skiing at age 2 and she learned to ski with EMXC Bill Koch League in 3rd grade. After trying laser biathlon, her first race was at the Jericho Ethan Allen range at age 14. Throughout high school she split her time between running, Nordic skiing, and biathlon with HSC Massachusetts Biathlon as well as summer camps at Craftsbury Outdoor Center run by Algis Shalna. She is currently a sophomore at Bowdoin planning to major in physics and racing on the Nordic ski team. Her biggest idol is Leslie Krichko, assistant coach for Bowdoin Nordic.
Outside of Biathlon, Mirra enjoys mountain biking, bouldering, trail running, disc golf, hiking and making bread.
