MORE ON GRACE: Parents names are Craig and Catherine Gilliland...she has six siblings...hobbies are fly fishing, horseback riding, reading old classics, drawing, alpine skiing and hanging out with her siblings...her oldest brother, Simon, was her biathlon coach for three years...she started biathlon in 2011, and qualified three times for the Arctic Winter Games...in 2016 she competed for South Anchorage High School on their cross-country skiing team...she grew up shooting in her back yard and can't remember not knowing how to ski...plays the violin and loves to sing...has always been home schooled...favorite part of the ski season is April after all the races are over, when the crust skiing is awesome and she can ski almost anywhere in the mountains.
