National Guard Biathlon

Zoe was born and raised on a cattle ranch in Cora, Wyoming. Winter is the slower season for ranchers, so this allowed her the opportunity to ski. She started skiing at 8 years old and raced through high school, competing at 4 junior nationals, and into college. She attended Alaska Pacific University where she fell in love with Alaska and now calls Anchorage home. There, she discovered biathlon for the first time at 20 years old. Feeling unfulfilled from Covid and injuries preventing her from competing, she decided she wasn't ready to hang up her skis. After graduating in 2022 with a BA in Business Administration and a BA in Creative & Professional Writing, she joined the National Guard Biathlon Team in Vermont and completed her Army training in 2023. In 2025, she will make her IBU Cup debut! When she is not training, she runs operations for Learn Grant Writing, the perfect combination of her degrees.

Outside of biathlon, Zoe loves backcountry skiing, baking, podcasts, the color yellow, and always has at 3 least beverages to sip on.
