Personal: Siena was born in Lauderdale, Minn., and raised in Minnetonka where she grew up playing soccer. She first learned to ski in 7th grade with the local high school team, and that summer did training with Piotr Bednarski. In the spring of 2011, Siena tried biathlon for the first time at Nationals in Grand Rapids. There, she found a new challenge. Siena has now been on four Junior World Championship teams.
