Athletes Named to Trimester Two World Cup and IBU Cup Rosters

Midway, UT – U.S. Biathlon announced the athletes who will represent the United States at World Cup 4-6 and IBU Cup 4 and 5. Trimester two is set to begin for both circuits on January 9, 2025.
WORLD CUP WOMEN
Deedra Irwin (Pulaski, WI/Army World Class Athlete Program)
Margie Freed (Apple Valley, MN/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)*
Luci Anderson (Golden Valley, MN/Team Birkie)*
Grace Castonguay (Jackson, NH/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)
*Freed and Anderson will forgo starting at World Cup 4. Jackie Garso and Chloe Levins are nominated to backfill the resulting open spots at that event. Freed and Anderson will return to competition at World Cup 5 and 6.
WORLD CUP MEN
Campbell Wright (Wanaka, NZL/Waiorau Nordic Skiing)
Maxime Germain (Chamonix-Mont Blanc, FRA/National Guard Biathlon)
Sean Doherty (Conway, NH/Army World Class Athlete Program)*
Jake Brown (St. Paul, MN/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)
*Doherty will forgo starting at World Cup 4 and Vaclav Cervenka is nominated to backfill the resulting open spot at World Cup 4. Doherty will return to competition for World Cup 5 and 6.
IBU CUP WOMEN
Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, WA/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)*
Chloe Levins (Rutland, VT/Unaffiliated)*
Jackie Garso (Lake Clear, NY/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)*
Michaela Keller-Miller (Plymouth, MN/Craftsbury Green Racing Project)*
*Garso and Levins are nominated to backfill open World Cup 4 start spots. Dickinson and Keller-Miller will forgo starting at IBU Cup 4. Lexie Madigan (Truckee, CA/Auburn Ski Club), Tara Geraghty-Moats (West Fairlee, VT/National Guard Biathlon), Zoe Noble (Anchorage, AK/National Guard Biathlon), and Cheresa Bouley (Zimmerman, MN/Minnesota Biathlon) are nominated to backfill the resulting open start spots at IBU Cup 4. Dickinson, Levins, Garso, and Keller-Miller will return to IBU Cup competition for IBU Cup 5.
IBU CUP MEN

*Cervenka is nominated to backfill the open start spot for World Cup 4. Luke Brown (St. Paul, MN/Craftsbury Green Racing Project) is nominated to backfill the resulting open start spot in IBU Cup 4. Cervenka will return to IBU Cup competition for IBU Cup 5.
