About #

Eric grew up in Frontenac, Minnesota, where he got into biathlon in 7th grade, but didn’t start racing until the following year. In total, he has been racing biathlon for 5 years and has been cross-country ski racing for 6 years. Currently, his favorite venue to race at is Mt Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid, NY because it's a fun course with lots of variety in terrain.

Outside of biathlon, Eric enjoys running, biking, hiking, woodworking, and taking care of the farm animals (goats).
